This piece didn’t begin with an image - it began with sound.
Late at night I found myself tapping rhythm into the canvas.
What emerged wasn’t one painting, but sixteen.
Sixteen small canvases, each its own beat.
Each square a pulse of color, red, ochre, slate, blue, layered thick and instinct.
Together they move like music. You don’t just see the colors - you feel them.
The texture catches light like a strobe mid-song.
Stand in front of it and you’re in motion - not running, not dancing, just carried.
Each panel was painted individually, with its own mood and tempo, then brought together as one composition, like a chorus of voices that somehow speak in unison.
16 Beats is bold, vibrant, and alive. Not decorative. Energetic.

My name is Vitalii. I’m a Ukrainian artist currently living and working in a sunlit town in Spain.
Each painting I create is part of my personal journey - inspired by light, silence, the sea, and small moments that shift something inside and of course my wonderful wife, who helps me in this journey.
My studio is a space where I explore ideas, emotions, and textures by hand.
